The narrative of how I got my lightsaber folding knife, from cinematic fantasy to starlight in the palm of my hand.

When Luke raised his light saber, the beam of light caught my attention as a child. It stood for bravery and hope. Years later, I worked as a tool engineer, where I was often around metal and buildings. I was debugging a folding knife late at night when I suddenly thought, "What if it could glow?" 

For more than two years and seven tries, I put energy and hopes into millimeters. A folding knife woke up like a light saber in the end. The handle is made of aluminum alloy, and the blade is made of M390 powder steel. When the blade is opened, the concealed LED lights up along the edge, and the light flows through the metal like the Force.
